Drive Silver Lakes Car Sales Signs with GLRU

The Golden Lions Rugby Union is excited to announce that Drive Car Sales Silverlakes has entered into an agreement whereby the Union has been provided with two new Renault Sandero’s.

The cars will be utilized by the Union’s Amateur Department. “This will really help us with reaching all the different schools and clubs and to plan and execute more development clinics throughout the year”, GLRU CEO Manie Reyneke said.

Absa Account Manager of Dealer Sales, Blackie Swart was behind the agreement, and “we would like to thank him for his continuous and invaluable support over the past few years, and for assisting with the sponsorship of the vehicles”, Reyneke added.

Swart commented that “the Lions have always been close to my heart, and I could see the need for pool vehicles in the Union, so it gave me great pleasure to work on this sponsorship with Drive Car Sales Silverlakes”.

Albert Venter, Chairman of Drive Car Sales Silverlakes said, "there was really zero equivocation or uncertainty on our part when deciding to donate these vehicles to the Lions. The heart of the matter resides in the fact that we are not only assisting a magnificent team, but that this contribution is in keeping with our growing commitment to social responsibility and development - an ideal that we share with the Lions Amateur Divisions wholeheartedly."

The Golden Lions Rugby Union are very excited about the relationship formed with Drive  Car Sales Silverlakes and are looking forward to working closely with them for the next few years.
