With two comprehensive victories on the road under their belt the team from Greenside host Vaal Reefs on Saturday and should stay unbeaten in the competition.
The youngest of the Kobrowisky clan, winger Jason, scored a brace of tries and should have had a third, but misjudged himself with the in-goal area and stepped off the dead ball line when running in for his third.
Reserve flanker Charl Ludick, who along with number eight Roy Cohen, has been playing rugby since his Under 8 days, also scored his first touch-down for the senior side.
New winger André van der Merwe, reserve hooker Cor van Tonder and new scrumhalf Willem Klopper also touched down.
Naka Bulle’s macro pack had the Pirates under severe pressure at times, but the off-season work paid dividends and their superior fitness carried them through.
