Lions Kidz is one of a variety of initiatives through which the Garvz Sports Academy offers boys and girls between the ages of five and nine a healthy and unique sports experience.
Founded and driven by former Zimbabwe and Springbok prop forward, Adrian Garvey, the Garvz Sports Academy concentrates on skills and fitness, safety in sport and acquiring knowledge, plus having loads of fun, in a NON-CONTACT ENVIRONMENT. In this way, the Garvz Sports Academy provides the perfect facility for nurturing a passionate support base amongst our developing children.
Starting in February and ending at the end of November, the Garvz Sports Academy provides a 10-month training platform. The Garvz Sports Academy calendar is as follows:
• First Term: SA Cricket Kidz or Danza (Dance Movement)
• Second Term: Lions Kidz (Rugby) or SA Netball Kidz
• Third Term: Lions Kidz (Rugby) or SA Netball Kidz
• Fourth Term: Orlando Pirates Kidz (Soccer) or Danza (Dance Movement)
The various packages each include the following:
• Weekly 60-minute sessions for 10 months including school holidays (no training on public holidays and in bad weather)
• Possible Match Day Experience
• End-of-year trophies for Best and Most-Improved Students
• Garvz Sports Academy collectables on-going throughout the year including: Branded T-Shirt at Match Day Experience; Cap; Water Bottle; Skills Certificate; Birthday Card; and Monthly Newsletter.
