JP Joubert back against Boland as Golden Lions chase first win |

March 10 - Experienced scrumhalf JP Joubert is back in the starting line-up for the Golden Lions who face the Boland Cavaliers in Mooorreesburg on Saturday.
Joubert replaces Michael Bondesio who has been promoted to the Super Rugby team’s bench for the match against the Cheetahs.
Once again it is a side mixed with experience and youth and a good indication of the depth that the Lions have in the union with only a few players who don’t have Super Rugby experience.
The Lions are still without a win after conceding an 18-all draw in their first match against Western province and then dominating possession and territory in their 16-9 loss against the Pampas last weekend. They are up against a Boland side that lost 84-9 to Griquas in Bredasdorp two weeks ago, but then in a complete turnabout beat the defending champions Blue Bulls 20-17 at Loftus last weekend.
