Golden Lions change only where necessary for the EP Kings |

March 24 - The Golden Lions have stuck closely to the side that beat the Sharks XV last weekend for Friday night’s Vodacom Cup match against the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth, with the only changes as a result of selections by the Lions’ side to play the Bulls in a Super Rugby match.
There are two changes in the backline. Jannie Boshoff returns at centre after moving down from the Super Rugby side where he was for injured Doppies la Grange who is now fit again. Burton Francis starts at flyhalf in a straight swap with Andre Pretorius who is in Francis’ place on the Super Rugby side’s bench.
Call-ups to the Super side bench for hooker Edgar Marutlulle and prop Jacobie Adriaanse give Martin Bezuidenhout and Kevin Buys respectively the chance for game time for the Golden Lions in another straight swap. Lock David de Villiers starts in place of David Bulbring who starts for the Super side against the Bulls.
