Changes to MTN Goldens as they aim to secure quarters spot |

April 7 - The MTN Golden Lions team to play the SWD Eagles in a Vodacom Cup match that could finally ensure their quarter-final place for the Lions shows a number of changes to the side that beat the Free State Cheetahs last weekend.
National Under-20 wing Wandile Mjekevu takes over from Springbok Tonderai Chavhanga; Springbok Sevens player Hoffman Maritz starts at centre in place of Jannie Boshoff; Johan Snyman starts at lock with David Bulbring, down from the Super Rugby side, as his partner; and Cobus Grobbelaar gets a run in place of Rinus Riekert after playing for the Lions in the Super competition last weekend. Snyman and Bulbring replace George Earle and David de Villiers who have been promoted to the Super Rugby squad.
Justin Wheeler returns on the bench in place of his UJ teammate Snyman.
