For the past month, the Golden Lions Rugby Union, in association with Drive Car Sales have been running an sms competition allowing supporters to answer an easy question and stand the chance of winning a brand new Renault Sandero. As an added bonus, Drive Car Sales threw in R10 000 cash for the winner, on the condition that they were at the stadium when the draw was done.

Roberto came to the game looking forward to some rugby. Deciding to take a browse around the team store ahead of kick-off he noticed the Renault Sandero with the sms question on the back window. He took a chance and entered. And what a chance it was.

“It is my lucky day”, Roberto said. “I only entered the competition once, and that was today. I heard it advertised before, but didn’t bother entering, as what were the chances? Today I decided to enter, and can you believe it? I won”.

Drive Car Sales representatives Riaan Theron and Albert were present to hand over the car keys and the cheque, as were GLRU CEO Manie Reyneke and President Kevin de Klerk.
