• In other matches on Saturday home side Western Province can hardly afford a second loss - this one at home at Newlands - when they play the Sharks XV after their somewhat surprising defeat against the Boland Cavaliers on Saturday.

Former Springbok Hanyani Shimange's team will simply have to overcome what will be a confident Sharks side after their huge and very good win over the Border Bulldogs last weekend.

• Free State are at home to the Cavaliers and will have to be at their best to defeat a team that clearly means business under new coach Loffie Eloff who has already made great progress with the Boland side
