Level 1:
Date: 24 and 25 January 2012; 5 and 6 March 2012

Course Description:
This is an 8 hour course and is designed to enable coaches who are interested in or involved in coaching rugby from primary school to senior club level. At the end of the course, successful coaches will be able to coach the 15 a side game with more awareness, confidence and quality as well as being abl to develop greater understanding amongst players.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- The coach is expected to work as an enthusiastic coach who promotes the game
- To qualify for the certificate the coaches must do the IRB law exam and the Boksmart workshop

Level 2:
Date: 1, 8, 15 and 22 February 2012; 7, 14, 20 and 27 March 2012
Time: 4pm to 9:30pm (Registration starts at 3pm)
Place: Coca-Cola Park Stadium
Cost: R750.00
Course Description:
This is a 16 hour course and is designed to help coaches of proven ability to increase their knowledge and expertise in the game of rugby. At the end of this course, successful coaches will be able to apply a thorough understanding of all aspects of planning, coaching style, skill development and technical improvement to their coaching of players.
The course is designed to equip coaches with the skills needed to coach teenagers and adult players in the club or school enviornment and to a higher level in less developed unions.
Throughout the course you will be encouraged to practice your coaching skills.
Entry Requirements:
- Successful completion of level one
- Completed Law Exam
- Completed Boksmart
- Completed one year practical coaching since attainment of IRP Level 1 certificate
- Coaches must belong to the Coaches Association of the GLRU
