Clean Up Day a Huge Success

Joburg Clean up day

The Golden Lions Rugby Union pitched in to Pikitup on Saturday, 5 June 2010 at the Annual Clean up day with coincided with World Environment Day. Rudy Paige, Danie van der Merwe, Winston Williams and Caylib Oosthuizen from the Lions U/21 team attended and lent a hand in cleaning up the permiter of Ellis Park Stadium. A few of the FeLions dancers also attended, and CEO Manie Reyneke picked up four bags of rubbish to contribute to the clean up. A very big thank you to all participants and to Pikitup for arranging such an exciting and successful campain.
